beach ready. ♥

hey guys! haven't been on in sooo long. /: well, i'm back!!! ♥

hair ; ♥
-wear your hair in a high bun. this way, it won't fall out while your chillin in the waves and you'll still look good.
-also, the beach is the best place for waves. i love going to the beach because the salt water makes my curls perfect. ♥ i love it.
-keep the above in mind. and don't straighten your hair, it will just get ruined by the water and it will just waste your time.

makeup ; ♥
-try to go as light on makeup as you possibly can.
-mascara. oh, god. try not to wear it? but if you need to, wear waterproof. it will prevent your face from looking like mascara just exploded on it. ;)
-don't wear any eye shadow, foundation or all of that stuff because it will just come off.

skin ; ♥
-i know, your parents have probably told you a little over a million times WEAR SUNSCREEN! well, you really should. but, i know that tanning is important soo...
-if your at the beach for a few days, try to tan for a little while. and then, put on some sunscreen.
-it really is important. my mom had skin cancer and she said it was awful.
-tanning lotion...try to get one thats not toooo bad for your skin? if you can't, try to not tan for a really long time.

cover ups ; ♥
-so, i personally think its kind of awkward to walk up a street in your bikini to get to the beach. if you agreee then look at the following.
-well, try wearing one of those things thats like a sheer towel that ties in the front. i totally forget what there called but i think there adorable.
-also try to find a cute dress or romper. there so cute.
-what a lot of people do is just wear shorts or a shirt.
-if i wear a shirt, i usually wear an oversized tank top. ♥

bikinis ; ♥
-choose the right swimsuit for your body.
-make sure its a cute color or pattern!
-also, make sure you get what you pay for...you want something that can last you all summer so dont buy a $100 bikini for 2 weeks.

got that glitter on my eyes. ♥

heeeey guys! i wanted to give some eye makeup tips. (:

eye shadow ; ♥
-using eye shadow can be hard. you really have to know what look your going for and what will look good!
-a look i really like is to do a light coat on your lid more toward your nose (taking up most of your lid) and the further away you get from your nose, the darker it gets.

-another good way to apply your eye shadow is do a light lid and make it darker as it goes up toward your eye brow (but don't put it all the way up to your eye brow!
-one last tip, please make sure that you have clean lines on your eye shadow. you don't want it all over your face!

eye liner ; ♥
-i use eye liner almost every day! make sure you don't use a liner that smudges!!!
-to avoid smudging, try liquid eye liner. but warning, you could smear it if you don't wait long enough to keep it dry.
-try a very thin liner under your eye with mascara. i think it looks soo cute.
-if you want a heavier makeup look, put a good liner on both the top and bottom of your eye. and a good coat of mascara.

mascara ; ♥
-mascara is hard when you first start using it.
-first, try making sure you don't clump. that's when it works the best.
-then, make sure your that you get all of your eye lashes. like, all of the way. it'll make your eyes stand out more.
-only put on mascara on your bottom lashes if you barely have any and there not visible. i myself don't need to because my bottom lashes are long.

omg i love shoes with a fiery burning passion. ♥ here are my favorite picks for spring 2011. ♥

oxfords ; ♥
-EVERYONE is talking about oxfords!!! i think there soo adorable. i haven't found the right pair yet, but i am determined to get them. they go with soo much! and i just think there absolutely adorablee.
-i think these could go really well with a pair of jeans and a neutral top. (:
-okay, i have absolutely noo idea where to buy them. i don't really like the ones from Forever 21. eh. there like..weird. hahaha but if you bought them i'm sure they look great on you! hm. i would try DSW shoes maybe? and also nordstrom. ♥

sperry top siders ; ♥
-okay. i absolutely love these. i have a pair. and i love them. so. much. i just love the look of them! not many people have them in my school, but i think they're so adorable.
-well, i would wear them with a pair of shorts or pants and a cute tank. (: i think that would be adorable!!!
-i would recommend ordering these online. if not, you may be able to find them at the sperry store or outlet or nordstrom or DSW!! (:

gladiators ; ♥
-i've loved gladiators since last year. i think there so cute and go with almost anything. there also really comfortable and a dressier alternative to flip flops. (: and they're just so adorable!
-you can wear these with almost anything. shorts, jeans, dresses, skirts, anything. there such a great way to dress up an outfit. ♥
-you can find gladiators any where! american eagle, forever 21, nordstrom, DSW, anywhere! or you could even buy a cute pair online

pretty prints. ♥

hey guys! prints are SO huge this spring. i think there soo adorable too! whether it's a printed dress, skirt, tank or shorts, i think there so fun! here's a few of my favorite prints for spring 2011. ♥

floral ; ♥
-almost everyone is wearing floral tops this season. which, i love! a cute outfit, if you wanted to dress up, would be a nice pretty floral top that has a lot of flow with a cute pair of pants. i think that would be adorable! you can buy floral tops at H&M & Forever 21 for really great prices & Nordstrom for greatt quality!
-so many people are also wearing floral dresses & skirts. i myself just got one! for a dress, you could get a light floral one and put a small belt around it. ♥ and you could get a cute skirt and maybe have a white top tucked in! my recommendations would again be H&M & Forever 21. if you don't have one around you, maybe try a delia's!

stripes ; ♥
-every store i look in, there are atleast 10 striped tops. the whole nautical stripes look is so huge this spring. my favorite is a navy and white striped top. i love how the two colors go so greatly.
-i bought the cutest striped top from H&M. i love it so much. it's comfy and i got it for a really good price. but, also try Forever 21. (:

tribal ; ♥
-tribal is literally the most popular pattern i think this season, well one of them. when i say tribal, i mean like differentttt patterns that kind of catch the eye. some people also call it "watercolor". well, thats my definition of tribal at least. xD there literally all over. from bikinis to dresses. i just see them everywhere!
-some good places to buy would be delia's and Forever 21.

plaid ; ♥
-now, i think of plaid as a pattern, but i guess we can use it as a print. ♥ i love plaid shirts soo much. like in the summer, i'll sometimes wear a cute plaid shirt and some shorts. i'm starting to like small check, but the big designs are cool too!
-there are manyy places you can get plaid shirts. for example, american eagle, j. crew, abercrombie, hollister, haha i could keep goingg. (:

lets talk denim. ♥

okay, denim is HUGE this spring! any form of it too. (:

jeans & capris ; ♥
-i really need to get a pair of capris for myself. they are SO cute to accesorize! i would wear some capris with a nice white or any light tee with a colorful scarf. ♥ i think that would be very cute.
-next, jeans. a lot of people are buying the very popular "oxfords". you could wear a nice pair of jeans with some oxfords and a pretty, colorful scarf.
-a good place to purchase comfy, cute & affordable jeans&capris would be delia's.

jackets ; ♥
-i am obsessed with jean jackets. end of story. i think there SO cute! i just bought a white dress yesterday to wear with my jean jacket. ♥ so excited to wear it!
-now, jean jackets pretty much go with everything. you could wear a basic tee under it, a cute dress, anything!
-i got my jean jacket at american eagle. most stores sell them for about $70, which is very expensive. for a better deal, try american eagle. or even delia's.

shorts ; ♥
-okay, denim shorts are so in. they always are! (: which is great.
-first, you do not want to buy the shortest shorts from abercrombie with rips all over them, okay? because that will make you look...trashy? yes. hahhaha. if you want to buy short shorts, i would recommend buying ones that aren't ripped. but, if you like the ripped style, get them a little ripped, don't go over board.
-high-waisted shorts are soo cute! unfortunatley, i can't wear them because they don't look great on me. :/ but, if i could, i would wear them with a tucked in top! i think that would be adorablee. ♥
-delia's and american eagle. such great stores to buy shorts. quality&affordable. ♥

floral ; ♥
-floral is hugee this spring. HUGE. i would definitley have at least one floral dress and skirt.
-you could also get a cute floral over-sized tee to wear with some nice skinny jeans and gladiators or oxfords.
-some cute stores with good prices for floral fashion are delia's, forever 21 & H&M

high waisted ; ♥
-high waisted shorts are SO cute. you can tuck in a nice shirt and wear a nice necklace with them and it would be uberr cute. ♥
-i got a pair at american eagle. they have pretty descent prices, but you could probably find another cute pair at delia's or forever.

patterns ; ♥
-fun patterns are so in! try a patterned top with a jean jacket or light sweater. so cute. ♥
-you could also do an over sized pattern tee with jeans and boots. (:
-delia's is definitley the way to go. cute and affordable tees. (:

bright ; ♥
-try some bright tops! there really fun and easy to style.
-forever 21 most definitley. (:
